How Kenya Pulse AI Works
Methodology & transparency. Clear rules, privacy-minded participation and transparent public information.
Open participation
Kenya Pulse AI is an open, voluntary online participation dashboard. It is not a probability sample, and participant results are not representative of all Kenyan voters.
What participants submit
Participants select a county and race, then choose a published candidate photo or use the manual candidate option when a verified photo profile is not yet available. Public results display aggregate participant counts and percentages rather than individual submissions.
Duplicate protection
A one-way technical fingerprint derived from limited network and client information is used to restrict duplicate submissions for the same county and race. Raw fingerprints are not displayed publicly.
How results are calculated
No weighting or normalization is applied. Undecided participants may enter “Undecided”. Candidate names are participant-entered and spelling variants may be consolidated in future audited releases.
Independence of results
Kenya Pulse AI does not endorse candidates or predict election outcomes. Advertising is clearly separated from participation controls and results, and advertising does not affect whether a response is counted.
